
The Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation has named it’s players of the year of the year award winners for the 2014 year. The winners are picked in three categories, mens and women's ice hockey players as well as the best inline player. This year all three winners are first time winners.
Goalie Zoltán Hetényi from Székesfehérvár AV 19 was the mens winner, he has yet to step on the ice for the 2014-15 season. The women’s winner is also a goalie, Anikó Németh who played last season with Pesterzsébet of the mens U16 league and for her womens season she played with Vasas. This season is she has switched women's teams to KMH Budapest. The inline winner is Zoltán Revak who played last inline season with Györi ETO, on the ice he is back in Hungary playing with Ferencváros after coming back from Germany.
