3 In and 3 Out

The coaching staff of the Hungarian national team was forced to make some roster changes before the upcoming four nation tournament this coming weekend. The national team will be taking on Poland, Romania and Ukraine on November 8th-10th.

János Hári will be missing because his club, HIFK in Finland has asked the Hungarian Federation that if it would be possible sit this one out because he still not 100% match fit after missing training camp at the beginning of the season with an injury. However the club did say that in the future they will release Hári to the national team and will be proud that he will also be representing the club at the on the international stage as well.

András Benk has had a nagging knee problem lately with his club Fehérvár in the EBEL, it would probably better for him to sit this weekend out just to get some more rest and have him ready for the rest of the season.

Nikandrosz Galanisz from DAB.Docler of the MOL League has had to miss a number of games because of a knee injury, it is not yet known when he will be back on the ice for his club.

Replacing these three stellar forwards will be two young players and one veteran. Tamás Gröschl is back in the squad after not being picked for the last couple World Champs, However, Gröschl was a member of the famous 2008 team that got promoted to the A pool in Sapporo. Joining Gröschl will be Adrián Tóth and Attila Németh. Tóth from Miskolc of the MOL League has had very little experience with the national team while the other young forward from Fehérvár will be making his national team debut.
