The complete nine team field from the previous MOL League season have turned in their registration for the 2016-17 season by the June 1st deadline, with Dunarea Galati also being active.
The following teams have handed in all the required paper work by the June 1st midnight deadline in order to participate in the 2016-17 season (this includes all requirements by the Romanian teams towards the Romanian Ice Hockey Federation as well):

- Dunaújvárosi Acélbikák
- DVTK Jegesmedvék
- Fehérvári Titánok
- Ferencvárosi Torna Club
- MAC Budapest
- Sport Club Csíkszereda
- UTE
CSM Dunarea Galati sent in the paper work from the Romanian Federation allowing them to participate in the League as well as paying the registration fee as well. However the remaining entry forms were not handed in, in time. The Competition Committee has informed the club about this and the club has until June 10th, the date of the upcoming League meeting to take care of this.
