The Hungarian Cup final four sponsored by Borosdi will be taking place this weekend in Miskolc. The four teams will be Miskolc, Fehérvár, Dunaújváros and Ferencváros. The later two teams made it to the weekends final four by making it through the five team qualifying group, which also contained Vasas, Debrecen and Újpest. Miskolc qualified to the final four as the host team and Fehérvár is in because they are the defending champions.
The final four will be played in a round robin format in which each team will play all the other three once, and every team will have a game on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In this format there is a chance that there will not be an actual championship game.
DAB.Docler has already faced Fehérvár this season when they played a two game Super Cup series in which Fehérvár won both games. DAB.Docler has faced the other two teams in the MOL League regular season in which they had the best record in the MOL League after the regular season.
