Of the 78 man roster that was invited to the camp, Nikandrosz Galanisz and Attila Pavuk were missing with injuries as Frank Banham, Dániel Kóger and Miklós Rajna are rehbaing injuries. Also missing on the first day was Csanád Erdély, János Hári and János Vas because of their club season. The rest of the players were split into four teams through a draft where Gary Clark, Tamás Sille, Gergely Majoross and Viktor Tokaji who were coaching the four teams. Joining Rich Chernomaz and Diego Scandella in the stands was Glen Williamson, Szabolcs Fodor and other members of the coaching staff. The house tournament is a two round, round robin tournament with the top two teams playing for the gold with the bottom two going for bronze.
The first round of cuts will be on Friday the 8th.
Rich Chernomaz:The focus is on evaluation we want to see where the younger players are compared to the veterans, I have been pretty impressed by them. There probably be one or two guys that will come out of the woodwork, I’m sure we will see some as the week goes on. We have some injuries and some players are not here because of their clubs. We are doing strength tests aside from the scrimages.
