CHL: Galló and Linköping open with a win

The day after Balázs Sebők and KalPa opened the Champions Hockey League season for Hungarian fans, Vilmos Galló and Linköping added the first Hungarian win.



Swedish club Linköping HC opened up their Champions Hockey League season by taking on French champion GAP Rapaces, the young Hungarian forward played on the fourth line.

“This was a useful game for us, we had a chance to see what we need to work on still.” said Galló, “This was a bit a of a strange game as we managed to keep the opponents under pressure for most of the game.”

When asked about his performance in Sunday’s game, the Hungarian forward sounded satisfied. “I am happy with the way I played, I did what was asked of me, I had some scoring chances and in the future I hope to turn those into goals.
