After three hard fought matches on home ice Dunaújváros continue their campaign in the European tournament. After dispensing Transylvanian club HSC Csíkszereda, Polish team Cracovia Krakow and Slavija Ljubljana from Slovenia DAB will be traveling to Vojens, Denmark where they will be playing host team SonderjyskE Vojens, Neman Grodno from Belarus and Stavanger Oilers from Norway on the weekend of November 22nd-24th.

This past weekend started out with a shootout win for DAB over familiar foe Csíkszereda from the MOL League. After a scoreless first period the Steel Bulls were able to capitalize on a two man advantage when Peter Huba was able to beat Stanislav Kozuch. Ede Mihály tied everything up at one with an even strength goal at 30:37. Vacláv Novák put the visitors up by one when they were able to convert on their own two man advantage. With just over five minutes to go Balázs Somogyi scored on a power play to pull the teams even at two. After a scoreless overtime both Peter Sevela and Kozuch were stone walls with both keepers saving the first four shots faced in the shootout. In sudden death SO Imre Peterdi was able to put one past Kozuch and Sevela came through to save the last shot and bag two points from the game.

On Saturday night Dab.Docler faced Ljubljana, just as in their first match after a scoreless first Tamás Gröschl broke the ice for the home side. In the third period Ákos Kiss opened up the lead to a two goal advantage. With the game in the bag Gröschl scored his second of the night for good measure as he put the puck in the cage for the empty net goal with 28 seconds left. After two games Dunaújváros had five points.

On Sunday Dab.Docler faced the other undefeated team, Krakow and had the chance to win in any kind and advance to the next round. The Polish side brought six points into the game with 4 goals scored and impressively no goals against.
In this particular game the Polish team jumped out to a two goal lead as both Aron Chmielewski and Sebastian Kowalowka were able to put the puck past Sevela. After a slow start the home team got themselves together and Ákos Kiss got a goal back to end the first period down only 2-1.
Balázs Somogyi scored an even strength goal 64 seconds into the second to make it 2-2 then Victor Lindgren's PPG gave the hosts their first lead of the night, with Nikandrosz Galanisz giving them a two goal lead as the teams headed into the third period.
Henrich Jabornik's PPG looked to put the match out of hand, however, Krakow was still able to get one back with a late Petr Dvorak PPG.
But DAB won the game eventually and will travel to Denmark in november.
