The Disciplinary Committee investigated the MOL League game MOL 46 (MAC Budapest - Dunaujvarosi Acelbikak) where Tihamer BECZE, player of Dunaujvarosi Acelbikak was being penalized 5 + 20 minutes for charging (CHARG). The Disciplinary Committee made the following conclusion:

In the 20th minute of the match, the player of Dunaujvarosi Acelbikak irregularly collided with his opponent near of the board. The opponent player is not possession the puck.

IIHF RULE 122 – CHARGING
DEFINITION: A player who, after skating towards an opponent, checks him with unnecessary force or who runs at or jumps into an opponent. A player who checks an opponent with unnecessary force or who runs at or jumps into an opponent will be assessed at least a minor penalty. A player who injures or recklessly endangers an opponent as a result of charging will be assessed a major penalty and automatic game misconduct penalty or match penalty.

According to the findings of the Disciplinary Committee, the player's movement did not focus on the acquisition of the puck. The player jumped up during the collision, and he bumped with his raised elbow. The target was the other players body and the head. Movements like that, taking into account the strength and position of the offending player's injury, are particularly dangerous.

The Disciplinary Commitee suspends Tihamer BECZE, the Dunaujvarosi Acelbikak player for 4 MOL League matches. The player will sit out his sentence at the next MOL League and Hungarian Cup matches.
