The Disciplinary Commission no.2015-16/007 decree
The Disciplinary Committee investigated the match MOL 46 (MAC-FTC), where JENSEN, Jimmy (FTC) was penalised for slew-footing 25min (MATCH), at 26th minute of the match.
The Committee made the following conclusion:
The player kicked out the opponent player’s leg from behind, and was pushed over at the 26th minute, when neither of the players were able to reach the puck.
IIHF rule book: RULE160–SLEW-FOOTING
“DEFINITION: A player who dangerously kicks an opponent’s foot or skate from behind or who pulls an opponent backwards while at the same time knocking or kicking his feet from under him. A player who slew-foots an opponent will be assessed a match penalty.”
According to the Disciplinary Committee's statement, the movement of the player was neddless and dangerous, it could easily cause injury.
The Disciplinary Committee prohibited JENSEN, Jimmy, Ferencvárosi TC #91 from playing two MOL Liga matches.
