The Disciplinary Commission no.2015-16/057 decree

The Disciplinary Committee investigated the Hungarian Cup game MK5 (Vasas-Continental – Dunaujvarosi Acelbikak), where Erik MAGOSI player of Dunaujvarosi Acelbikak was being penalized 25 minutes for abuse of officials (ABUSE). The Committee made the following conclusions:

After 40 minutes the player of Dunaujvarosi Acelbikak, the referee warned the player for unsportsmanlike behavior, the player push the referee, physical contact established.

IIHF RULE 116 – ABUSE OF OFFICIALS

DEFINITION: An attempt by a player or team official to usurp the power of an on-ice official, demean or degrade an on-ice official, call into question the integrity or ability of an on-ice official, or physically confront an on-ice official. Match Penalty - A player or team official who makes contact in any way with an on-ice official and is detrimental to the conducting of a game.

According to the Disciplinary Committee's opinion, the player apart from this behaved disrespectfully towards the referee. The players are not allowed to establish a physical contact in any way with the referee, and it's prohibited to push him.

The Disciplinary Commitee prohibited Erik MAGOSI, the Dunaujvarosi Acelbikak player for 2 Hungarian Cup matches.

The player will spend down his sentence at the next 2 Hungarian Cup matches.
