Dunaújváros and Diósgyőr win big

Romanian teams Csíkszereda and Brasov struggled during their final games of their road trip. Both team kept it close early on but the long road trip got the best of them and ran into a big defeat.

DAB-Csíkszereda 10-4
Csíkszereda was in a rough patch and the game in Dunaújváros did not help. The home team was lead by Keegan Dansereau who ended up with five goals and one assist on the night. Starting off the game in net for Sport Club was Raphael Girard who has been swapping back and forth with Gellért Ruczuj on the road trip. Ruczuj ended up back in the game early in the second period after the Girard was pulled after the fourth DAB goal. Goals by Colby Lanceleve and Norbert Antal had give Csíkszereda an early 2-0 lead, however by the time the period was over DAB was on top 3-2 on two goals by Dansereau and one by Zsolt Azari. Azari would end up leading all scores with one goal and five assists.

DVTK-Brasov 7-1
A win for either team would have catapulted them past MAC and into first place in the MOL League. Zoltán Tőke, who has had a great road trip stayed in net for Brasov and DVTK had Attila Adorján. Neither team was able to score in the first period, both young netminders were playing well. The first goal of the game was not scored until deep into the second period when Adrián Tóth scored at the 34 minute mark of the game, in the final minute of the period Nikandrosz Galanisz made it 2-0 for the home team. Things unraveled for Brasov as DVTK scored three goals early in the third period before Brasov managed to get on the scoreboard. Attila Pavuk, Galanisz and Bálint Magosi all found the back of the net before Levent Zsók ended Adorján’s shutout. Young forwards Martin Sági and Márk Miskolczi scored the last to goals as the final score was set at 7-1.
