
Rob Pallin and his team were hoping to put an end to the losing streak they were on with either a home win against Villach and possible a win at Klagenfurt.
Fehérvár AV19-Villach 5-3
Villach jumped out to a two goal lead before Kevin Wehrs put the home team on the board late in the first period. In the second period Péter Vincze sent a rocket from the right faceoff circle that ended up in the Volán net. Csaba Kovács and Dániel Kóger also scored before the period was out to give the home team a two goal lead. In the final twenty minutes the two teams exchanged goals but in the end Fehérvár held on to the 5-3 lead.
Klagenfurt-Fehérvár AV19 4-2
After a home win Alba Volán was hoping to make it a six point weekend, Fehérvár scored first when Brendan Connolly set up Chris Francis for the goal. KAC tied it up quickly when Ganahl put the puck past Miklós Rajna, they took the lead on a goal in the last minute of the period when Ganahl scored his second of the game. After a scoreless second period Francis scored his second of the game to tie it up off of a Connolly goal again. In the third period Klagenfurt pulled away with a goal by Herand and Setzinger.
