Fehérvár head coach Dávid Kiss: Both team s played an offensive style, the second game was more defensive, Vasas was tired by the end of the game, we were able to play with four lines, which is key at this time of the season. I am very happy with the way we played.

MAC Budapest-HC Znojmo

Game 1 MAC-Znojmo 6-0

The top ranked MAC hosted the Czech club for game one, Balázs Kangyal gave Boldizsár Győri the start in net. Árpád Lőczi and Richárd Kedves added a goal in each of the second and third period to set the 6-0 win.

Game 2 Znojmo-MAC 1-8

The second game of the three game series was much like game one in Budapest, Kristóf Nagy started in net. Znojmo scored the opening goal of the game in the first period, with the MAC tying goal not coming until the second half of the game. Marko Djumic tied it up and Bruno Kreisz making it 2-1 as the two teams headed into the final twenty minutes. MAC scored six unanswered in the final period, Richárd Kedves made it 3-1 with Nándor Fejes scoring a shorthanded goal to make it 4-1. Ákos Szigeti would score twice with Bence Korchma and Gábor Türmer score once each to set the final at 8-1.

MAC coach Marton Tibor: There is always another level to improve to, we did not play a perfect game. We played well from start to finish but were did not take advantage of the scoring chances until the third period. Znojmo isn’t a bad team they were playing without two of their top scorers.
