
MAC-Zagreb 4-3
Szabolcs Fodor gave Norbert Zaka the start in net, MAC jumped out to a 2-0 by the way of a power play goal by Gergő Fekete and an even strength goal by Olivér Herner. The visitors scored later in the period to make it a one goal game. In the second minute of the middle period Ákos Inglis put MAC up by two again. However Jarcov scored twice to pull Zagreb even with MAC at 3-3. The action did not finish there in the second period as Kristóf Schmál scored a power play goal which ended up being the winning goal as well since Zaka did not allow any goals in the third period.
Zagreb-MAC 5-3
Head coach Fodor stuck with Zaka as the starting goalie, the home team took a 2-0 lead after the first period as Zagreb scored a power play goal early and followed it up with a second goal later in the period. MAC scored a power play goal in the second period off of a shot by Ákos Inglis. Zagreb went up 4-1 when Jarcov scored twice, later in the game Árpád Németh cut the deficit to two and a second Inglis goal made it a one goal game, Zagreb scored an empty net goal at the end.
MAC-Zagreb 1-3
For the third and final game of the three game series Zaka was between the pipes for the Hungarian club. The game was a read defensive battle, the visitors went up 1-0 when they put a rebound past Zaka. MAC pulled even on a nice two on one when Schmál set up Arnold Silló for the tying goal. In the third period Zagreb scored a power play goal to go up 2-1 and an empty netter at the end. Interestingly MAC did not have a single power play opportunity.
