
After HIHF president Miklós Németh and executive committee member I. Szabolcs Ferencz stepped down at the last meeting they were not in attendance this time around. Seven points were discussed at the meeting.
Gábor Pap, team leader for the Inline national team updated the executive committee about how the national team is preparing for the upcoming world championships and how the transitions is going under the new head coach. He also mentioned that the the amount of players and the overall talent level of the available players has grown since a number of younger players have picked up the sport, a couple have the chance of making the final 16 roster.
The second point was the topic of youth hockey that Róbert Dömötör covered, starting this season in the U12 age groups shifts have been cut down from a minute and a half to one minute. Starting with the A group score will be kept but no individual statistics will be kept.
Any male for female player who had stepped onto the ice at least once for the senior national team would automatically receive a C level coaching license.
Zoltán Kovács informed the federation that everything is staying the same for foreign teams to enter any Hungarian leagues and also for Hungarian teams entering foreign leagues.
Csaba Kovács gave an update on the TAO (state funding) and what the TAO committee recommended.
The idea of a Winter Classic between Ferencváros and Ujpest at Groupama Arena on January 2nd was also discussed but no final decision was made.
With the HIHF needing a new president a search committee was established with Róbert Dömötör being named committee head.
The final point was the hosting of the U18 Women's Division 1 world championships, the final decision on dates and the host city will be made some time in the fall.
