Representatives from all four teams from the Hungarian Final 4 Participating teams took part in at the press conference. The attending teams were DVTK Jegesmedvék, MAC Budapest, Fehérvár AV19 and Debreceni HK, where a player, coach or a member of the management was on hand.

Csaba Kovács HIHF president:
I would like to thank EuroAszfalt and CCM for the support. The Hungarian Cup in an important event on the Hungarian hockey calendar for a number of reasons, the most important one being that this is a great way to keep up the match fitness heading into the world championship training camp. I am sure this weekend will be a great follow up to the season that we just wrapped up and we have the four best clubs in Hungary competing for the trophy. We were able to find a great venue to hold this weekend and we saw during the MOL League semifinals that we were able to sell out the arena, we hope this will happen again as well.
Kristóf Majoross Jégvilág representative:
We would first like to thank the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation for having the faith in us to be the naming sponsor of this years Final 4, and MAC Budapest for letting us introduce the CCM product to Hungary at this event.
Jukka Kontsas DVTK Jegesmedvék assistant coach:
As the defending champions of the Hungarian Cup our main goal is to win the trophy for a second year in row. We are at the end of a long season, it will be hard for the players to get back on track after celebrating the MOL League title. We have been back training for the past couple of days and the team will be ready for the challenge.
Gergely Majoross MAC Budapest head coach:
We have come to the end of a long and relatively successful season that did not end the way we would have liked. After some celebration I believe the guys are back on track and focused on our goal. It hard to finish a 7-8 month long season not the way you had planned, we have one last chance to finish on a high note. I am happy that the Alba Volán players from the EBEL will be available at the weekend this way this will be a real challenge for us.
Hannu Jarvenpaa Fehérvár AV19 head coach:
The Cup is clearly very important for us just like for the other three teams as well, we did not finish the EBEL season the way we would have wanted to, the Cup can give us a chance to finish on a high note. We had five qualifying games and we have been in match fitness we have a good chance of winning but we also need to be realistic, we will not have Dániel Kóger or Frank Banham at our disposal.
Koppány Hegedüs Debreceni HK team manager:
We had a much more successful season than last year, we are continuously developing and we would like to finish at least one spot ahead in the Hungarian Cup as well. This will not be easy as well will be facing Miskolc in the opening game. We have advantage of being in match form as we played the qualifying round.
