FTC will have a new president

Ferencváros hockey president Kornél Almássy has decided that he would step aside after his four year term at the head of the hockey team.  New president had not been named, however there are changes to the board and the budget has been confirmed.

Fradi.hu ahd a statment “At the meeting held at Groupama Arena a new board was elected. Kornél Almássy reviewed the past four years and announced that he would step aside, however he would stay on the board and be a part of the new management.

The club thanked him for his work during the past couple of years and that he lead the club through the lean financial seasons as well and that the club is financially stable now.

The new board will be made up of Almássy, Gábor Hudák, Tibor Mieczkievicz, Gábor Pap, Ferenc Simon, György Lautner and István Pál Szabo.

The new board had their first board meeting as well where they did not elect a new club president. Regardless of this the preparations for the upcoming season continue the budget is set for the upcoming season.

The technical director will be Gábor Hudák with Tibor Mieczkievicz and György lautner taking care of the finances”
