This weekend is the annual World Girls’ Hockey Weekend which will be at the Tüskecsarnok this season.
The Weekend will start October 10th Saturday at 12:00 when the girls will be hitting the Tüskecsarnok ice, girls from all ages and all skill level will be allowed to skate and play hockey. The goal of the weekend is to make women’s hockey popular as well as to introduce the game to new potential hockey players, but most importantly is to have fun. If possible every girl and mother should bring a friend, so the sport can become more popular. If someone brings a friend both of them will receive a gift at the event.
This year the mini and supermini aged girls will be playing games which will be followed by the Global Girls game. This is is a game that will start in New Zealand go through Canada and the rest of the world including Budapest. At ice rinks all throughout the world girls will be split into teams of blue and white, and at the end of the day the goal totals by the blue team throughout the world will be tallied and also for the whites and the color with the most goals worldwide will be the winner, at the Tüskecsarnok the game will start at 15:00.

11:00-registration
12:00-games, on ice races (for advanced girls and mothers)
13:30-U8 and U10 game (registration is mandatory)
15:00-Global Girls Game (registration is mandatory)
