
After the first day of match competition in the Austrian Inline championships Dana ETO Inline HC Győr sat in second place with nine point with one game still left in the group stage.
Győr has the same amount of point as first place Kapfenberg but had lost to tham by the score of 5-3. Győr opened up the weekend with a 12-3 win over Steindorf, Tamás Lencsés and István Terbócs both finished with five points each with Krisztián Budai picking up the win.
In their second game Győr again managed to score at least ten goals in their 10-5 win over Vestaprotect, Attila Rafaj and Terbócs both finished with four points each, with Budai again playing the full 48 minutes in goal.
Against Kapfenberg, Győr never managed to get closer than one goal, the Kangaroos jumped out to a 2-0 lead before Ákos Kiss made it 2-1, a Lencsés goal made it 3-2, with Zoltán Revák scoring the third and final Hungarian goal to make it 5-3.
Győr rebounded back after the loss with a 9-6 win over Karten, Lencsés lead all Hungarian scorers with 4 points, Budai and Ádám Baran split time in net.
The Hungarian club will round out the match play on Sunday against EC M-Rust Wölfe withe the semi finals and the finals late in the day. After four games Tamás Lencsés is third in scoring with 5 goals and 7 assists.
