The Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation and the MOL League had a number of issues and topics on the agenda for both of their meetings. The Federation will not be holding a general assembly in the near future and the MOL League playoff system is staying the same, DVTK and MAC can enter leagues in other countries as long as they keep a farm team in the league.

There was mention of having a general assembly for the election of new federation officials, however the federation did not think this was needed at this time.

The HIHF has raised the “workshop” funding for every national team player, the federation will keep supporting the Hungarian clubs who have a national team player at the Men's World Championship in 2016.

The Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation has admitted FC Hatvan as an official club.

The federation has also decided that they will only let MAC and DVTK enter a foreign league in the next four years if the clubs keep a farm team in the MOL League each season.

The HIHF meeting was followed by the MOL League meeting in which the upcoming playoff schedule was decided. The first round will be a best out of three with Debrecen traveling to UTE for an 18:00 faceoff for game one and on Thursday Fehérvár will be taking on Ferencváros in Pesterzsébet at 19:30. The FTC-Fehérvár game will be shown on M4.

There will be video goal judges during the playoff games and overtime will be twenty minute sudden death periods.
