
The Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation and held a board meeting where a number of rules and regulations were decided upon, including that medical staffs have to be present for Austrian league games that are held in Hungary.
The first agenda point was covered by Attila Nagy, Hungarian Olympic Committee youth development director, informed everyone of the formal requirements for Nátán Vertes’ participation of the 2016 Lillehammer youth winter Olympics. After this the TAO budget was discussed and the board voted on having medical staffs be a requirement at all Austrian league games in Hungary (EBJL, EBYSL, EBEL).
The HIHF has come up with the idea that all HIHF games need to have controler in attendance and there observations have to be handed in to the HIHf within five days of the match.
István Végh gave his update on last week's MOL League meeting and the HIHF accepted the recommendations that Dr. Zsuzsanna Kolbenheyer had for the updated women's program.
It was recommended that KMH and UTE continue to work together in the EBJL under the name Hokiklub Budapest.
The Federation has allowed Tisza Volán Szeged to enter the Serbian league for another season.
András Becsky has stepped down from the the Technical Committee, he was replaced by Gábor K.Szabó, the director of the Debrecen ice rink.
On January 24th the HIHF will be celebrating their 89th birthday, because of this occasion there is to be an night of ice rinks, in which they would like to get as many rinks involved and 3 on 3 games as well.
