Hungarian Players Union has been created

After the summer coming to an end and training camps opening up, 13 players as well as the support of many others the first players union was formed.

On Monday August 8th the Hockey Players Union was formed (Jégkorongozók Érdekvédelmi Szervezete aka JÉSZ). The first president of this players union is Csaba Kovács Jr. with the vice presidents being Dr. Zoltán Leleszi and Attila Pavuk.
The first goals of the union is to become stronger and to develop to become a strong system that can support and protect the interests of their members and to work together with the Hungarian Ice Hockey federation.
The Union would like players to become more familiar with them, what they do and how it can help them. The Union would also like to cover a wider range of areas as time goes on. If players would like to join this union then can turn to the following contact info.

János Vas was unable to attend the meeting in person however he does support the initiative as well, also the opinions of players from Fehérvár, Debrecen and Dunaújváros were also taken into consideration. A number of Hungarian playing abroad are also behind this with most notably Márton Vas.
