New season, new equipment, the Hungarian national team will be sporting new jerseys for the upcoming international season. The IIHF has been working together with the Finnish hockey equipment manufacturers in designing the new sweaters.
There are aspects of the new jerseys that will stay the same, there will be a red jersey that officially is considered the away dress and the home dress being the white jersey. The red sweater will have white and green trim with black bottoms and red socks. With the home white dress having red and green trim with the same black bottoms as for the red dress, all the jerseys will keep the Magyarország name on them. What is different is the green stripe with white trim that runs through the red designad and a red stripe with green trim that goes through the white design. The same stripe design will be on the socks as well.
These jerseys will be used be all mens and womens teams in all age groups from now through 2016. For the world championships Tackla will be providing the uniforms with the Hungarian company Madonna Sport providing them for all other tournaments.
The mens senior team already has their new jerseys pants and socks with the rest of the teams getting shipments through the next four weeks. By mid December all the teams should be able to hit the ice in the new uniforms.
