The board of the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation met and voted on a number of issues, among them excepting the women's senior and the mens U18 rosters for their upcoming world championships.

The first two agenda points where the men’s U18 and the women’s senior team rosters, the women will compete between April 4th through the 11th at the Division 1/B world championships with the U18 also compete at the same level between April 18th and the 24th.

The originally planned “workshop” support plan was passed in which the mens OBIII and OBIV teams will receive TAO funding, however the HIHF will support the top women's league with funding.

The HIHF voted to apply to host two world championships next season,  the mens U20 Division 1/B and the women’s U18 Division 1, both tournaments would be expected to be held in the Tüskecsarnok.

For the clubs that do not have a proper sized ice surface but would like to enter teh U12 age group will not be able to as the HIHF will start a smaller sized rink U12 league.
