Hungary took on Czech club Breclav in two exhibition games in preparation for the upcoming inline world championships where they came away with a simple win and a dramatic one as well.

Head coach Attila Hoffmann gave Kriszitián Budai the start for the Monday afternoon match. The game started well for Hungary as a close range shot by Márton Mach trickled through for the goal. Breclav was able to keep pace for the first quarter and for the early part of the second but were not able convert on their scoring chances. Attila Rafaj shot out the top left corner after a nice slalom through the other team and Arnold Feil scored in the opening minute of the second period. Late in the second period Vilmos Galló collected a puck in the Breclav end on the penalty kill and fed it to Szilárd Sándor to make it 4-0. At halftime Hoffmann made a switch in goal as Tamás Kiss played the second half of the game. In the third quarter Hungary to the foot off the gas as they let Breclav have a couple of scoring chances, they ended up scoring the only goal in the period. In the fourth Breclav was visibly tired and Hungary had their way with them as they scored four in the closing twelve minutes. Ákos Kiss and Galló made it 6-1, Sándor shot out the top corner for his second of the game and seventh for Hungary and Imre Peterdi closed the books with the eighth goal in the closing minute of the game.

Coach Attila Hoffmann-We dominated and controlled the game in the first half of the game, they got tired early and the game was played mosting in their zone and took advantage of their scoring chances. I feel there were times that the guys made that extra pass where maybe the shouldn’t have. In the third period was where maybe we slowed down a bit, they had 11 shots to our 4. In the fourth period I think we picked back up. We still need to learn from our mistakes and the last man back also need to be more aware of what's going on because we could get burned on a counter attack against a better opponent.

Zoltán Revák- The coach asked us to play within the system and what we have practiced, for three out of the four periods we were able to do this, in the third period they outscored us 1-0 and we dropped to their level. We still need to work on some things, some of the defensive points have to be worked on.

In the second game Coach Hoffmann switched things up as this time Kiss started the first half with Budai coming on in the second. Things did not go as well at the start of the game as they did the day before, this time Breclav had a 4-1 lead in the second period. The teams swapped goals in the second period but the Czech squad still had a three goal lead at 5-2. After the horrible first half Attila Hoffmann must have known how to fire the guys up as the only goal Breclav scored in the third period was on a penalty shot, but soon after Zoltán Revák scored to get one back. Hungary went on to score three more goals in the period as the teams headed into the fourth period all tied up at 6-6. Tamás Lencsés opened up the scoring in the fourth to go up 7-6 but the lead didn't last long as the Czech club tied it up. Hungary would score three unanswered goals with Norbert Fekecs scoring the tenth and last Hungarian goal for the 10-7 win.

Zoltán Revák- At the start of the game mentally we were still in the locker room, we were not able to stick to the game plan or what the coach expected from us, where as everything was working for them. We game them the first half, at half team coach give us a good talk and we came out ready for the second half. The positive that can be brought from this game is that we were able to come back from being down four goals. We needed games like this because we might be in a situation like this at the world championships. Overall I would say we are through a successful training camp and spirits are high.

Norbert Fekecs- We were not in the game at the start, after yesterday's game we did not have the same energy today. Before it was too late we were able to get ourselves together, in the second half we were able to become serious and we turned the game around. At the world championships we will not be able to get away with something like this, giving the opponent a 2-3 goal lead.
