
Hungarian Hockey is mourning again with the sudden passing of Janka Méri
Janka was born June 16th 2002, she had been playing for KMH Budapest for the past four years. The past week she was in training camp with her team in Zalaegerszeg. At the beginning of the week she passed the physical examination that was needed.
During the Wednesday training she did not feel and her coach called an ambulance immediately, her condition became worse in the hospital and passed away Thursday morning.
“This is an incredible tragedy, said Dr.Zsuzsanna Kolbenheyer vice president of the Hungarian Ice Hockey Federation, Unfortunately we do not know much more, in the name of all of Hungarian hockey we are grieving with the family.”
