János Vas will not be able to play in the upcoming 4 Nations Tournament in November because of an injury, he has been replaced by Ferenc Kocsis.
Hungarian national team head coach Rich Chernomaz has had to make a change to the training camp roster, the shoulder injury that Slavia Praha forward János Vas picked up is healing slower than expected. The 31 year old, 120 times capped forward has been replaced by 20 year old Fehérvár AV19 forward Ferenc Kocsis who has played for the national team twice.
Coach Chernomaz will be taking 28 player squad to Norway.
There have been no changes to the schedule.
The players are to report for duty on November 2nd, and will have numerous trainings on and off the ice on Monday and Tuesday on either side of the roster cut which will be made midday Tuesday. The team is set to travel to Norway on Wednesday and will be playing their first game on Thursday, November 4th against hosts Norway. Team Hungary will play against Denmark on Friday and France on Saturday before travelling home on Sunday.
