Coach Rich Chernomaz has just about set his final roster for the U20 World Championships. At this point the team is down to two goalies, and 21 skaters with one more cut to be made before the tournament.
As of right now there are six defencemen listed but that could change if Chernomaz decided to move one of the forwards back to the blueline.
After his two goals for Újpest in Tuesday’s exhibition game Márk Egyed was called into the team and survived the cut. Goalie János Lajcs will be the emergancy keeper, also not making the team were defencemen Attila Kovács, Dávid Jászai, Oliver Herner and András Herszényi. as well as forward Zoltán Eröss.
