
After a shutout win against Lithuania the Hungarian national team team is back on the ice against Estonia tonight as they hope to pick up their second win of the tournament tonight. Zoltán Hetényi will start in goal.
The morning skate was declared optional on Friday. Eight palyers decided to go on the ice: forwards Vilmos Galló, János Hári, Krisztián Nagy, Péter Vincze, defencemen Balázs Gőz, Dániel Kiss and Bence Stipsicz, as well as goalie Zoltán Hetényi. They worked with assistant coach Tamás Sille, goalie coach Gary Clark and video coach Jukka Kontsas. Team leader Lajos Imre joined the group at the of the training as a special guest.
No major line-up changes are expected, but Zoltán Hetényi will start in goal instead of Miklós Rajna, who started the tournament with a shutout.
Estonia assistant coach Märt Eerme, who was an assitant for Miskolc last season talked with icehockey.hu about their upcoming game: “It will be a tough game for us, Hungary has a good team, we improved period by period today and I will try to use my knowledge of the Hungarian players and coaches.”
The game against Estonia will start at 18.00 tonight, Rich Chernomaz and his coaching staff have decided to go with the following lineup.
