MAC Wins U20 title

After neither team made it to the EBYSL finals MAC Budapest and Fehérvár AV19 faced off for the Hungarian U20 in a best of three series.

Game 1 MAC-AV19 5-0

For game one Fehérvár started János Gadacsi in net with Szilárd Hamvai being the lone overaged player. MAC had Gergely Arany in net with Richárd Tóth and Kristóf Schmál being the two overaged players. Dániel Papp scored the only goal of the first period to put the home team up 1-0. In the second period István Terbócs scored two goals, the second one on the powerplay that slipped past Gadacsi. In the third period Ákos Inglis set up Bence Stipsicz for a shot from the right faceoff circle, Dávid Jászai scored the fifth goal and Arany picked up the shutout.

Game 2 AV19-MAC 6-1

For game two in Fehérvár Gergely Bors started in net with Ferenc Kocsis and Áron Reisz being the two overage players, MAC kept everything the same. Just like in game one Papp scored the opening goal, but this time it was in the second period, Stipsicz made it 2-0 on a breakaway shorthanded goal. Dominik Berendi made it 3-0 with a shot from the right faceoff dot with Terbócs making it 4-0. Towards the end of the period Reisz scored to make it 4-1, in the third period Bence Bödök and Tamás Vajda scored twice to make it 6-1 as MAC one the Hungarian U20 title.
