Just as Michael Jordan was a prolific scorer on the hardwood of the NBA, Jordan Knox has become a prolific goal scorer on the sheets of ice throughout the MOL League. Despite missing games due to suspension Miskolc's Jordan Knox is the leading goal scorer before the international break. So far Jordan has 15 goals in 16 games during the season.

Knox hales from Tignish Prince Edward Island in Canada, he played juniors on the island as well for the Summerside Western Capitals of the Maritime Junior A Hockey League. In three seasons with Summerside he showed he had a scoring touch as he had 64, 103 and 89 points.

After the three great season Knox had a contract offer from the Saint Johns Seadogs of the QMJHL where he was teammates with a number of current NHL players, but unfortunately he only played two games and was back in the MJAHL playing for the Weeks Crushers.

After juniors Knox moved on to getting an education and playing some hockey as well. He stayed close to home for school attending University of Prince Edward Island in the CIS.

From a connection through a college teammate, Dan Boyle and a recommendation of former - and re-signed in October - Miskolc head coach Bob Dever, he ended up in the MOL League playing for Miskolc.

When asked what he thinks about the town of Miskolc and the club Jordan answers positively saying that he likes the place and that the team has hooked him and the other North American players up with a nice place to live and he has enjoyed his time so far. He has had a great time with the team as well and mentioned that there are a number of quality players not only on his team but throughout the league as well.

It will be interesting to see if Knox can keep up his scoring after the international break and how Miskolc will finish the MOL League regular season.
