Sunday afternoon brought game four in both semifinal series, Miskolc had a chance to sweep Brasov and clinch a spot in the MOL League finals, Nové Zámky win a win would take a commanding lead in their series against DAB.Docler.

The regular season champions had a chance to sweep Brasov from the plays with a road win. Miskolc played with in their system in a low scoring game. Dezső Raczanov opened up the scoring for the night from a pass from Zalán Fliszár, in the end it was all that the PolarBears needed as Bence Bálizs shut the door on Brasov has he registered a shutout. Late in the second period Miskolc found a second goal when scoring machine Keegan Dansereau buried a puck past Patrik Polc.

Nové Zámky-DAB.Docler 4-3 OT
The home team and defending champions Nové Zámky had a real chance to pull away from DAB.Docler in the series and they did but first they gave their fans a real scare. Zámky jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half of the opening period. Juraj Faith made it 1-0, less than a minute later Erik Caladi had doubled the lead with Martin Frolik scoring the third goal. Dunaújváros goalie Janis Kalnins played fantastic the rest of the way. In the closing minutes of the first period Nikandrosz Galanisz scored to make it a two goal game. After a scoreless second period Tamás Groschl cut it to a one goal deficit for the visitors. Five minutes later David Croteau scored a shorthanded goal, this was when Nové Zámky goalie seemed to have enough as he received ten minutes for unsportsmanlike conduct and was also pulled for Pavel Krajcovic. the score remained 3-3 for the rest of the game. In overtime Zámky only needed 21 seconds as Marek Uram scored on the first rush of the extra time.
