Hungary-Italy 3-1
Hungary took on Italy Friday afternoon and coach Zoltán Szilassy gave Máté Sági the start in net. Patrik Kemény put Hungary up 1-0 in the first period, Kemény doubled the lead later in the period to give Hungary a 2-0 lead. At the midway point in the game Italy cut it to a one point game on a goal by Pisetta. Less than two minutes later Nátán Vertes put Hungary back up by two goals. Sági stood tall the rest of the way for the 3-1 Hungarian win.
U18
Hungary-Austria 3-5
Hungary took on host nation Austria, Glen Williamson gave Csaba Medgyes the start. Hungary took an early 1-0 lead off of a goal by Nándor Fejes but Austria tied it up minutes later. In the second minute of the second period Austria took their first lead of the game, they extended their lead on a powerplay goal in the second period. Austria looked to have the game in the bag when they scored at the start of the third period to make it 4-1. Hungary scored minutes after to make it a 4-2 game. Armand Szlepka made it a one goal game but Austria scored again in the closing minutes to make it 5-3.
U20
Hungary-France 2-3 (SO)
After a win on Thursday against Italy the HUngarian team was back on the ice against the host team France, head coach Rich Chernomaz gave Bence Kiss the start in net. Hungary took the early lead on a power play goal when István Terbócs got the puck out of the corner to Vilmos Galló who crossed it over to Bence Stipsicz who put it on net. France managed to tie the game up on a power play of their own. The game stayed tied up at 1-1 through a scoreless second period and deep into the third. With less than five minutes left in the game France took the lead on a second power play goal. France had a late power play in the game but instead of them scoring a goal Terbócs evened it up with a shorthanded goal to send the game into overtime. After a scorless extra period the game was settled in a shootout that France ended up winning.
