UTE-MAC 2-2
With the ice not being ready at the Tüskecsarnok the game was moved to Újpest with the following UTE-MAC to be played at the Tüskecsarnok. Bence Bálizs got the start in net but Drew Olson was missing and Krisztián Nagy was suspended. UTE had József Pleszkán in net since Ales Sila is injured, also missing was Karol Csányi and Tamás Gröschl were missing from the lineup. MAC struck first late in the opening period when Tamás Pozsgai put his own rebound in from the slot. In the second period Dezsó Roczanov nicely redirected a pass from Niko Saarenpaa on the powerplay to make it 2-0. In the first minute of the third period Ádám Hegyi put the puck between Bálizs’s legs to cut the deficit in half. Eric Pance flew down the right wing of the MAC zone skated in and slipped the puck past Bálizs to tie the game up at 2-2. In the extra session Saarenpaa took a puck off the back boards and put it in for the winning goal.
