
Brasov-FTC 4-6
Both teams were desperate for points and both had played the previous night, Ferencváros had Krisztián Budai in net as Brasov countered with Zoltán Tőke. Brasov quickly jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the early part of the game. Csanád Virág scored an unassisted goal and Levent Zsók made it 2-0. Braov had a 3-0 lead before the period was over on a Csanád Fodor power play goal. FTC made a change in net during the break as Olivée Ágoston came in for Budai. The change looked to help as Fradi scored three unanswered goals to tie the game up. Jereme Tendler scored off of a pass from Marko Luomala, Juha Hietamäki cut it to a one goal game and Vladimir Dubek took a pass from Gábor Kiss and put it past Tőke for the power play goal. Dániel Tranca scored a goal to put Brasov back up top late in the period. In the third period the top line of Ferencváros took over as Joona Mannien scored twice and Luomala once, Tender set up all three goals as Ferencváros picked up the important 6-4 road win.
SC-DVTK 3-2
League leaders Diósgyőr played with a short bench as Jesse Dudás, Levente Szilágyi and Adrián Tóth all had injuries and Jon Booras was awaiting the birth of his child. The visitors had Attila Adorján starting for DVTK and Sport Club countered with Marek Peksa. Kirils Tambijevs scored an unassisted power play goal to give the home team the 1-0 lead. In the second minute of the second period Balázs Somogyi set up Balázs Láda for the tying goal. Later in the period Somogyi scored a power play goal to give DVTK the 2-1 lead as the teams headed into the final 20 minutes. Sport Club tied it up 2-2 off of a goal by Alexander Dyadyushko and took the lead back on a second Tambijevs goal. Csíkszereda held on for the upset in and stayed in the race for a playoff spot.
DHK-DAB 4-3
Debrecen has been slowly sliding down the standings in recent week, they had a great opportunity to pick up points against Dunaújváros who was behind them in the standings. Debrecen had Savva Borodin in net and Dunaújváros came with Dávid Duschek. DAB took the lead in the game when Brad Smith scored a power play goal. In the first minute of the second period Phil Bushbacher scored the team's second power play goal of the night. Just past the midway point of the game Péter Vincze put Debrecen on the scoreboard, however Miroslav Durak put DAB back up by two with a power play goal in the closing minutes. For the final twenty minutes Debrecen had Ádám Vay in net in place of Borodin. the move looked to payoff as Ádám Könczei scored in the early part of the period and Vladislav Troshin scored on the two man advantage to tie the game up at 3-3. The veteran Martin Saluga scored in the closing minutes for Debrecen to complete the comeback and to pick up three important points.
