AV19-FTC 6-0
As the MOL League fans have become accustomed to it Monday night is a hockey night on the TV. The fans had the chance to see Fehérvár host Ferencváros. Alex Scola was in net for the home team, the visitors were without Linus Schellin who is suspended and the veteran Krisztián Budai was in net for FTC. Ten minutes into the game Brance Orbán took a pass from Mitch Holmberg who skated in from the right wing and picked out the near side top corner, Budai had no chance. In the second period the home team doubled their lead on a powerplay goal when Preston Shupe made a pass through the slot to Chris Bodó who banged it home. Volán really closed the door on the game when Holmberg skated in on a breakaway and put the puck past Budai on the backhand. Ferencváros kept on killing its chances of getting back into the game as they were picking up penalties, on a 5 on 3 Bodó set up Orbán for the fourth Fehérvár goal of the game. Bodó scored his second of the night after Budai made a save but was caught out of position on the rebound and Bodó fired it home. Orbán completed his hattrick in the last minute of the game.
Fehérvár AV19 coach Tyler Dietrich: It was a good game, some parts were good but other were not as great. I’m satisfied with the results but it wasn't a complete game. Our power play and our top line played great, we weren't as good in five on five as we expected.
