MAC Budapest had another young player make their debut as Dávid Sebestyén made his MOL League debut, Bence Bálizs got the start in net, for Dunaújváros had Dávid Duschek in net. Robi Egyed scored his first goal of the season to give MAC the early lead. Two minutes later Viktor Tokaji scored a writer from the slot. Later in the period with MAC on the power play Ian McDonald waited for his chance and ripped a shot from the right faceoff circle. In the second period Tomas Klempa put MAC up 4-0 when he redirected a pass from Jeff Hayes, Dunaújváros got on the scoreboard with a close range score by Gergely Borbás. In the third period Klempa scored his second one of the game when he snuck a shot under Duschek’s right arm. In the closing minutes of the game Imre Peterdi scored from close range when he redirected a shot from Brad Smith to make it 5-2

The other Sunday night matchup had a fight for fourth place, Ádám Vay was the starter for the visitors with Ales Sila in net for the home team. Neither team was able to put the puck past the opposing goalies in the first period. The opening goal was not scored until 26:25 mark of the game when Jozef Mihálik put one past Vay. Later in the period Dániel Kiss doubled the lead, and in the closing minutes of the period Eric Pance scored scored a power play goal to make it 3-0. The third period was like the first period as in neither team found the back of the net and Sila picked up the shutout.
