
DVTK-MAC 4-3 OT
Sunday brought one game to the MOL League fans as Coach Gergely Majoross, Krisztián Nagy, Bence Bálizs and Dezső Roczanov were back in Miskolc for the since they left the club in the offseason. András Herszényi made his MOL League debut for MAC who had Bálizs in net, DVTK had Attila Adorján, out with injuries as Tamás Pozsgai for the visitors and Roland Hajós for the home team. Ian McDonald gave MAC Budapest the early lead when he put a rebound home, but Balázs Láda tied it up before the period was out when he redirected a shot. Right at the midway point of the game Kalvin Sagert put a shot on net that Attila Pavuk put a stick on and the puck ended up behind Bálizs. DVTK went up by two when Jarkko Leppanen let a rocket fly from the blue line. Minutes later MAC had a power play that they converted when Jeff Hayes scored from close range to cut the MAC deficit to one. Hayes struck again when he beat Adorján to tie the game up at 3-3, in the last 9:45 neither team was able to score. In overtime the two teams stayed tied up until the 6:00 of OT when Sagert stuff puck in for the winning goal.
