The Disciplinary Commission no.2015-16/036 decree
The Disciplinary Committee investigated the MOL League game MOL 201 (Fehervar AV19 – Sport Club Csikszereda), where after 59 minutes Devon KROGH (Fehervar AV19) penalized 5 + 20 minutes (ROUGH, GA-MI) and Kirils TAMBIJEVS (Sport Club Csikszereda) penalized 5 + 20 minutes (ROUGH, GA-MI). The Committee made the following conclusions:
The two players in the 59th minutes of the match, evolved from a fight.
IIHF rule book RULE 158 - ROUGHING
DEFINITION: A player who jostles or strikes an opponent during the game. A player involved in a confrontation with an opponent will be assessed a minor, double minor, or major and automatic game-misconduct penalty. According to the Disciplinary Committee's opinion, the fighting developed from an unnecessary scuffle. The fight could not be the part of the hockey. Every possible thing has to be done to avoid the fight. The Committe considers that, the case goes beyond the scuffle, so in that case and similar situations, the referees should use fighting rule.

The Disciplinary Commitee suspends Devon KROGH (Fehervar AV19) and Kirils TAMBIJEVS (Sport Club Csikszereda) for 1 MOL League match.The players will spend down his sentence at the next MOL League match.
