The Disciplinary Commission no.2015-16/011 decree

The Disciplinary Committee investigated the MOL League 143 game (DAB-DHK) where the DHK player Kasper EMANUELSSON received a 10 minute Misconduct (MISC) for unsportsmanlike behavior at the 58th minute of the match. The unsportsmanlike behavior continued, so the referees gave another 10 minute Misconduct penalty, which changed automatically Misconduct Penalty (GA-MI). The Committee made the following conclusions:

The DHK player complained against the match officials in irreverent tone and criticized the work of the referees after the opponent’s goal. The player who the referees had penalised left the ice and headed to the changing rooms. Based on the referee signals he continued the unsportsmanlike behavior, and he kicked his team's dressing room door.

IIHF RULE 168- UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT

“III., Misconduct Penalty- A player who persists in using obscene, profane, or abusive language directed to any person on the ice or anywhere in the rink.

IV., Game-Misconduct Penalty- A player or team official who uses obscene, profane, or abusive language directed to any person on the ice or anywhere in the rink.”

The Disciplinary Committee warns Kasper EMANUELSSON and his team to observe the rules and to act sportsmanlike

The Disciplinary Committee draws attention to the fact that players and officials are obliged to behave sportsmanlike before and during the match.

The Disciplinary Committee do not impose other sanctions besides this statement and the penalty what was given by the referees during the match.
