MOL League: DVTK is back on top

MAC-DVTK 3-4

With the Tüskecsarnok not being available for the next couple of home games MAC had moved their residency to Kaposvár where they took on Diósgyőr. Balázs Gőz, Kalvin Sagert and Patrik Popovics were sitting out a suspension with Adrián Tóth missing with Dávid GYenes starting in net. Bence Bálizs was between the pipes for MAC. DVTK took a one goal lead in the first period on a goal by Ádám Fekti, at the end of the period MAC forward Krisztián Nagy was tossed from the game. The visiting team doubled their lead in the middle of the second on a goal by Jon Booras, however MAC got on the board in the last minute of the period when Drew Olson put one past Gyenes. Two goals by Tomas Klempa let MAC flip the score as they went up 3-2 with ten minutes left in the game. Minutes later Jon Booras set up Balázs Somogyi for the goal to tie the game up, however with just six seconds left in the game Justin Cseter scored the game winner off of a pass from Roland Hajós.

FTC-DHK 2-5

Debrecen had freshly signed Erik Piatak in their lineup with Áron Könczei, Zoltán Csíki, Kasper Emanuelsson and Vladislav Troshin were missing, however Ákos Berta was back in the lineup and Ádám Vay was in net. Ferencváros had Attila Rafaj back in the squad with Krisztián Budai in net. Berta opened up the scoring when he put one past Budai from the right side of the slot. In the early part of the second period Attila Rafaj scored a power play goal from the left baseline to tie it up. Debrecen went up minutes later on a goal by Péter Hetényi, the visitors pulled away late in the period on two goals by Martin Saluga and second Berta goal. The two teams exchanged goals in the closing twenty minute with Vladimir Dubek scoring for Fradi and Saluga scoring the fifth Debrecen goal.
