DVTK-FTC 3-5
There was only one game on Sunday night in the MOL League as Ferencvéros traveled to Miskolc to take on DVTK. Ferencváros had Attila Rafaj back in the lineup and Olivér Ágoston in net, DVTK had Jon Booras back and Attila Adorján in net. Booras made it 1-0 with Keegan Dansereau doubling the home team lead. Late in the second period Booras was awarded a penalty shot that he put past Ágoston. Heading into the third period it looked like it would be an easy win for Diósgyőr, however Ferencváros managed to turn the game around. Vladimir Dubek scored in the second minute of the period, at 49:55 Jereme Tendler made it a one goal game. Exactly two minute later on the power play Dubek scored his second of the period to tie the game up at 3-3. Thirty eight seconds after the second Dubek goal Tendler scored his second as well to give Ferencváros their first lead of the game. DVTK pulled their goalie for the extra attacker but Tendler completed his hattrick with an empty netter and the Ferencváros upset.
