After a win in Brasov Ferencváros was hoping to make it two in a row in Transylvania. The Budapest team was playing with the same lineup as the night before except that Krisztián Budai was in net, SC Csíkszereda had a full roster for the game. Ferencváros got on the score board right before the ten minutes mark when Gábor Kiss managed to put the puck past Marek Peksa for the early Fradi lead. The score stayed the same for the rest of the first period and all through the second period until the final minute when Joona Manninen set up Jereme Tendler to double the lead. Krisztián Budai went the distance to record the shutout win.
