FTC-UTE 4-1
Ferencváros had Viktor Kovács back in the lineup after he had been out for the last couple of weeks, Tamás Erdély was out of the lineup and Olivér Ágoston was in net. On the other side Ales Sila was the starting goalie. Ferencváros scored first right at the five minute mark when Juha Hietamaki took a feed, skated into open space and scored from the slot. In the closing minutes of the period Ferencváros’ other Finnish defenseman scored as well, Niko Suoraniemi took a pass from Vladimir Dubek, he drew of the goalie to the edge of the crease and nicely roofed a backhander to make it 2-0. In the first minute of the second period Jereme Tendler ripped a rocket to put Fradi up by three, not even a minute later Attila Rafaj weaved through traffic to make it 4-0. UTE called time out and head coach Zoltán Szilassy switched goalies sending in Józef Pleszkán in place of Sila. The move worked as Pleszkán did not let in a goal the rest of the way. In the third period with just under ten minutes to go, UTE scored a shorthanded goal by Erik Pance, in the end Fradi held on for the win.
