
DVTK-DHK 7-3
First place DVTK has been thin on the blue line as of late with Balázs Gőz out with an injury and Jesse Dudás still suspended, starting in net for them was Attila Adorján. The visitors also had a shorter bench than usual. Vladislav Troshin is suspended and Kasper Emanuelsson was not in the lineup either, defending the visitor cage was Savva Borodin. Keegan Dansereau started the scoring off for the home team with a power play goal. However the last five minutes of the first period was by far the most action packed five minute span of the game. Balázs Láda was in the penalty box when Márk Miskolczi scored a shorthanded goal to put DVTK up 2-0, however on that power play Artyom Vaszjunyin scored the first Debrecen goal of the night, 21 seconds later Áron Könczei found the back of the net to pull the teams even. In the closing seconds of the period Roland Hajós gave DVTK back the lead. The teams exchanged goals in the middle twenty minutes as Balázs Somogyi put Diósgyőr up by two goals but a Danil Kaskov powerplay goal brought it back to a one goal game. Diógyőr pulled away late in the third period with three unanswered goals. Jon Booras and Nikandrosz Galanisz scored 20 seconds apart and Keegan Dansereau bookended the scoring with a goal in the last two minute of play.
UTE-DAB 0-1 OT
For the first time in a couple weeks Karol Csányi was back in the Újpest lineup and Tamás Virág was also back, Zoltán Szilassy gave Ales Sila the start in net. For Dunaújváros Dávid Duschel was the starting goalie, who were without Bence Dörök, Tamás Lencsés, Mike McCann and Gergely Borbás, however Miroslav Durak made his debut with the team. The team was a real battle of goalies as Duschek and Sila went to toe to toe from 60 plus minutes. The two goalies pitched a scoreless shutout through through the three period of regulation and into overtime when the veteran Imre Peterdi scored to give the visitors two out of the three points.
AV19-HSC 2-3
Janis Kalnins was back in the lineup for the home team and starting after missing the past couple of weeks with injury, however Hegyi, Krogh, Reiter and D.Szabó were still out. For Csíkszereda Marek Peksa got the start in net. The game remained scoreless until the end of the first period when HSC picked up a handful of penalties and Péter Vincze scored on the two man advantage. In the early part of the second period HSC tied it up on a power play when Alexander Dyadyuska put the puck past Kalnins. Ten minutes later Martin Pillok scored his first goal of the season to give the home team back the lead. The third period was all Csíkszereda as Irek Khafizov scored in the first minute of the third period and minute later Róbert Péter scored a power play goal. to give the visitors a 3-2 win.
FTC-Brasov 13-3
Brasov opened their Hungarian road trip against the team directly ahead of them in the standings, but with a team filled with junior players they were in for a long night, however no one thought it would turn out like this. Fliszár, Kovács and Mach were missing from the Fradi lineup and Krisztián Budai started in net, for Brasov Szilárd Béres was in net. Brasov scored first after a mixup in front of the net and Zsolt Péter was credited with the goal. Zsombor Balázs made it 2-0 in favor of the visitors after he split the defense and skated in to beat Budai blocker side. Ferencvaros tied it up later in the period on goals by Attila Rafaj and Joona Manninen. The second period kind of got out of hand as Fradi scored eight goals in twenty minutes. Jereme Tendler alone had a hat trick in the period and Manninen scored twice to complete his as well. Rafaj, Papp and Dubek also scored, at 9-2 Szabolcs Móré rélived Béres in net. For the third period Fradi coach Greg Lindqvist rested Budai in favor of László Soós who was playing for the first time this season, he also benched Juha Hietamaki and Rafaj for the final twenty minutes. Brasov had Béres back in net Tomas Valecko, Niko Suoraniemi and Tendler also scored in the period before Zsolt Péter scored the third Brasov goal of the game.
