UTE-AV19 3-2

Both teams were in search of a win as neither team had a regulation win next to their names. Ales Sila was back in the net for Újpest but Teemu Elomo was not in the lineup, on the other side Janis Kalnins was between the pipes for Fehérvár. The league's leading scorer Chris Bodo gave Fehérvár the lead when he put the puck past Sila late in the first period, but the lead didn't last long as Martin Turbucz tied it up in the opening minutes of the second period. In the middle of the game during a five minute span things got exciting, first Tamás Virág put the home team back up, Krisztián Szabó evened it up. Virág Struck again as Dániel Kiss and Benji Nemes set him up for the goal. The teams went into the second break with UTE leading 3-2, the score remained the same for the last twenty minutes as Újpest picked up their first regulation win.

DAB-DVTK 3-2 OT

Breton Lindoff started for the home team with Attila Adorján getting his first of the season for DVTK. The visitors took the lead in the second minute of play when Adrián Tóth skated behind the goal and stuffed the puck past the DAB keeper. The SteelBulls tied it up when the veteran Imre Peterdi stepped up when he skated in and snapped a shot from the blue line that squeezed through Adorján’s pads for the goal. Dunaújváros was able to keep pace with Diosgyőr for most of the middle twenty minutes but Justin Cseter put a rebound in from the slot to put the visitors up 2-1. Mike McCann slalomed through the the DVTK defence and shot one past the DVTK goalie to tie the game up late. DAB had a power play that carried over into OT, Zsolt Azari banked a puck off of Jesse Dudas and into the net for the win and the first win of the season.

Head Coach Lee Gilbert: I enjoyed the win a lot it was hard fought game on both side a real physical game. we can learn from this and I  have to say thanks to my assistant Hunor Strenk since he is in charge of the power play and we won because of the man advantage.

Danil Kaskov put the visitor up in the third but Vladimir Dubek tied it up with a Fradi power play to send the game into overtime. After a scoreless overtime Nórbet Hári scored a winning shootout goal to keep Debrecen undefeated and are sitting at the top of the standings

Head Coach Dmitri Romanov: The was a fair drawn I think that both teams had about the same amount of chances during regulation. In overtime both us and Fradi had a chance to end it in overtime but luckily the shoot worked better for us.
