
Brasov-AV19 0-4
After a hard fought win in Csíkszereda Fehérvár was back at it in Brasov, who had lost the night before to MAC. Janis Kalnins started for the visitors with Zoltán Tőke in net for Brasov who was playing with a short bench. Fehérvá took the lead at 12:10 of the game when Preston Shupe set up Bence Szabó for his first MOL League goal of the season. The score stayed the same through the rest of the first and through a scoreless second period. Early in the third period Devon Krogh set up Shupe for a power play goal to make it 2-0. Fehérvár put the game away in the closing minutes with two goals, a power play goal by Mitch Holmberg and an even strength one by Tihamér Becze. Kalnins pitched a shutout win.
SC-MAC 3-4 OT
MAC Budapest went back to Bence Bálizs in net with Sport Club having Marek Peksa between the pipes. MAC Budapest scored on the first shift of the game when Tomas Klempa took a pass from Ian McDonald and put it past Peksa for the early lead. Three minutes later MAC doubled their lead when Krisztián Nagy scored off of a pass from Tamás Pozsgai. Not long after Csíkszereda scored a goal of their own when Alexei Alekseev set up Kalvis Ozols for shot that made it past Bálizs. In the first minutes of the second period Csíkszereda had a two man advantage that they capitalized on when Alekseev and Ozols again combined for a goal to tie the game up at 2-2. Ian McDonald gave MAC the lead back in third period but Csíkszereda tied it up on a Tambijevs power play goal. The game stayed locked up at 3-3 for the rest of regulation, in overtime Krisztián Nagy scored the game winner.
FTC-DAB 7-2
Ferencváros looked to continue their winning form against their rivals, Olivér Ágoston got the start for Fradi with Breton Lindoff playing for Dunaújváros. DAB went up in the second minute of play when Gergely Borbás set up Phil Bushbacher for the goal. Less than a minute later Csaba Papp tied it up at 1-1. Marko Luomala gave FTC their first lead of the game off of a pass from Jereme Tendler. Linus Schellin set up Attila Rafaj and Luomala scored his second of the period to give Fradi a 4-1 lead after the first period. DAB coach Lee Gilbert decided to switch Lindoff for Dávid Duschek. Borbás scored the only goal of the second period to get DAB back within two goals of Fradi. In the third period Ferncváros pulled away in the third period with three unanswered goals as Rafaj and Luomala both scored their second of the night with Schellin scoring the seventh and final Ferencváros goal.
