Sunday night brought game six, a must win for Fehérvár and a win would put MAC in the MOL League finals. The home team had Miklós Rajna in net, missing from the lineup was Roland Vokla and Gergő Tóth, playing  was Szilárd Hamvai who was playing his first playoff game of the season. MAc had Bence Bálizs in net, the rest of the roster was the same as in game five. MAC took the first lead of the game whne Niko Saarenpaa skated down the right wing, center the puck to Tomas Klempa who snapped it past Rajna. Minutes later Tamás Sárpátki tied the game up when his shot from the left faceoff dot deflected off of Mike Quinn's stick and pasr Bálizs. Volán took their first lead of the game when Arnold varga took a pass inside of the blue line, waited for the screan to be set and fired it into the back of the net as Bálizs did not see anything from the shot.
The tight battle continued in the second period as neither team was able to capitalize on their scoring chances in the period. The two teams started to get a bit chippy with each other and towards the end of the period István Mestyán laid out Dániel Szabó with a bone jarring hit.
The third period started off with Fehérvár leading 2-1, again the tow teams kept on exchanging rushes. In the early part of the game there wasa scare not just for Fehérvár fans but for Hungarian ice hockey fans as István Bartalis went crashing into the goal post. Luckely it was nothing as the national team forward was back after one shift. Neither team was able to score in the third period which went the series was going back to Budapest.

Fehérvár head coach Tyler Dietrich: This was a real playoff game, it was a tremendous effort from both teams the way they played. We had our backs against the wall in the third period, we had some big saves and some big blocks and now we will see what will happen in game seven.

MAC head coach Gergely Majoross: I could not ask for anything more from my team, especially in the second and third periods I think we beat them in every statistical category except for the one that counts, goals scored. From here the math is easy, we need to play a bit better on the power play and we need to stick to the game plan and work hard on our home ice.
