
UTE-HSC 3-1
Csíkszereda came into their third MOL League game in three nights with a regulation win and an overtime win, it is needless to say that the team was tired. Marek Peksa was in net for the visitors and Ales Sila was defending the UTE net, Újpest was playing with Teemu Elomo for the first time this season but Karol Csányi was still out of the lineup. Both goalies played great through the fast paced first half of the game, the first goal was not scored until the 32nd minute of the match. Zsombor Molnár and Zoltán Molnár crashed the UTE net in the last second Zsombor passed the puck to Zoltán who slipped the puck into the empty net to give HSC the first lead of the game. In the second minute of the third period Ádám Hegyi put a shot on net from the right faceoff circle that Benji Nemes redirected and trickled through the pads of Peksa. UTE took their first lead of the game when Eric Pance skated down on the goal and passed the puck to the left to Elomo who put it past Peksa. With just over five minutes left in the game Hegyi was sprung, he skated in on goal and shot the puck through the HSC goalies legs to make it 3-1 which ended up being the final score.
DVTK-DAB 5-1
All season it has looked as if Dunaújváros has caused all sorts of problems for DVTK all season, Jesse Dudás was back in the lineup but Balázs Gőz was out of the lineup, Attila Adorján started in net, and Dávid Duschek started for the visitors. Only one goal was scored in the first period which was by DVTK when Keegan Dansereau put the puck past Duscheck. In the opening minutes of the second period Attila Pavuk scored a power play goal, later in the period Phil Bushbacher scored a power play goal for Dunaújváros to make it 2-1 Dansereau set up Jon Booar to put Diósgyőr back up by two goals, before the period was out Mátyás Vojtkó made the score 4-1. In the closing minute of the game Booras scored his second of the night off of a pass from Adrián Tóth to set the final score.
MAC-DHK 5-2
For only the second time this season Savva Borodin started in net for Debrecen, the home team countered with Bence Bálizs in net. MAC scored in the first minute of play when Drew Olson put a shot on net, Jeff Hayes grabed the rebound, slipped it to Tomas Klempa who tapped it into the empty net. Hayes did some nice stick work in the closing minutes of the first period and then set up Ian McDonald who shot out the top corner to make it 2-0. MAC went up 3-0 on a power play goal when Olson setup McDonald for the goal, a second powerplay goal in the period made it 4-0 when Michael Quinn ripped a rocket off of a pass from Viktor Tokaji. Towards the end of the period, Debrecen got on the scoreboard with a short handed when Martin Saluga and Kasper Emanuelsson went in in a two on one with Saluga putting it past Bálizs. In the third period the teams exchange goals in a very short time span as Áron Könczei skated in alone and beat Bálizs on the far side, 73 seconds later Quinn put a shot on net that Niko Saarenpaa redirected to set the final at 5-2.
