MOL League: HSC ride power play to victory
Brasov-HSC 2-5
The only game in the MOL League Wednesday was a Transylvanian derby in Romania, as HSC travelled south to Brasov. Zoltánt Tőke was in net for the home team and Gellért Ruczuj was defending the HSC net. In the early part of the first period Csíkszereda took advantage of a 5 on 3 as an Anton Berlev shot found the back of the net. Brasov tied the game up before the period was out on a regular power play thanks to Levente Zsók. The game stayed tied at 1-1 until 36:08 of the game when Brasov scored a two man advantage goal themselves when Mátyás Bíró scored. The scoring picked up in the third period, however one thing was constant as Berlov scored three unanswered power play goals, the first one coming seventeen seconds into the third period. In the closing minutes of the game Zsombor Antal setup Ervin Moldován for the fifth HSC goal.
